RP$ with Integrated Mail Opening & Extraction

Utilizing leading edge in mail opening and extraction technology from Opex, this is an ideal solution for mixed processing of stubs, checks, envelopes, 8.5 x 11 pages, and other non-standard documents. The solution operates as a "two pass" process to balance and complete transactions efficiently.

The Opex AS 3600i is a mail opening desk with a built-in scanner capable of duplex color imaging, plus inline MICR and OCR recognition, and document sorting. This system allows for opening, extraction, and first pass imaging and sorting all in one step. After this step is complete, the images are available for further recognition, CAR/LAR, and image data completion using flexible RP$ software. Finally, after the data is complete, the checks may be encoded using an NCR desktop endoder or transport.

Our image archive application can also be added as an option. Image Archive positions you to offer images of payment transactions to other department or clients on CD-ROM with full research indexing capabilities. Image Archive eliminates the need for microfilm and provides a concise digital image of the entire transaction, showing both stubs and checks. This capability gives you a distinct advantage for research and retrieval and positions you to optimize customer service in your call center.
