This feature substantially reduces overall document sort and processing time. ICR can read checkboxes, machine print in OCR or Non-OCR fonts, and even handprint!

ICR stands for Intelligent Character Recognition, and this advanced recognition technology has many applications in remittance and payment processing.

Documents with No OCR Scanline:

No scanline — no problem! Provided the data is printed clearly and does not overlap with other lines on the form, ICR can extract the information from the form without requiring a separate OCR line to be printed.

Credit Card Payments:

Detect credit card payments and outsort them for special processing. Even read the handwritten credit card numbers off the form! Note: An optional credit card module is also needed to send this data to your bank.

Change of Address:

Detect Change of Address indications and automatically offsort the document, or even route the image for optional Image Data Completion (IDC).

Multiple Amount Choices:

Assign a dollar value to each of the amount checkboxes, and even read the handwritten amount under 'Other'.

Rubber Banding

New feature that allows the operator to draw a zone around data and have the software ICR the area. No keying require, just validation of the results.
