The process is started with the cashier either scanning a customer bill, or selecting a payment type. Customer data is retrieved from the central database and presented to the teller. If the customer pays with a check, the check can be imaged and archived. The customer is presented with a receipt that contains the image of the check and the bill stub. Equally important, iNovah offers a comprehensive tool set for collecting, reporting, managing and auditing your OTC transactions. Needless to say, strong supervisory / management controls are in place. Audit controls are tight but simple and straight forward. Every OTC payment activity carries a unique identifier (fingerprint). Authorized personnel can search transactions logs, review, approve, reject and adjust transactions online as well as access an "on screen" electronic audit tape as well.
