New Micro Remittance Solution Released

Mississauga, Ontario (January 28, 2002): Remittance processing systems have been very cost effective for sites processing thousands of payments per day but until now, sites with a few hundred payments per day may have had difficulty justifying an automated solution. With the introduction of the new Micro RP$ Solution, automation of the remittance processing function is available at a price that makes sense for lower volumes.

Creditron has packaged the compact NCR 7728 image scanner with a special "MicroPak" RP$ software bundle that provides a turnkey remittance processing solution with standard features including:

• automatic document feeding
• front and rear image capture
• OCR reading to capture account, amount, and other information and reduce data entry
• MICR reading to capture check information
• single line endorsement
• two pocket sorting (stubs and checks)
• deposit reports and batch listings
• posting file for import to accounts receivable
• archiving of document images (online and to CD)
• site license for image research software
