 Creditron Appoints Veteran Executive to Drive Western Sales

 

TORONTO, ON, April 23, 2008 – Creditron, a leading provider of payments automation solutions, today announced that Matthew Weirauch has joined the company’s sales team. 

With over 15 years of payments industry experience, Weirauch brings extensive business development, sales engagement and channel management expertise to his new position.  He will report to Bill Genard, National Sales Manager for Creditron. 

Weirauch most recently served as regional sales manager, enterprise accounts, for QuickStart Intelligence, a Los Angeles-based provider of mission-critical solutions training for IT staffs at Fortune 500 companies.  Previous to that, Weirauch was business development executive for national named accounts at Regulus Group, a leading provider of remittance, lockbox and document processing services to insurers, mortgage lenders, telecoms, and other businesses.

Before joining Regulus Group, Weirauch worked for 12 years at WAUSAU, where he held several senior sales positions, led the development of new territories and markets, played a key role in growing the company’s reseller channel, and won numerous sales awards.

Weirauch will be based in Los Angeles with account management and sales responsibilities for Alaska, Arizon, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

Weirauch has a bachelor’s degree in English literature and rhetoric from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and additional training from the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Business Management Executive Education, and APEX Performance Systems.
