Company Background

Creditron is a high technology company which specializes in check, remittance, and payment processing solutions. Our systems are PC driven using industry standard operating systems. Technologies utilized include Image Processing, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Bar Code, and Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR), Courtesy Amount Recognition (CAR) and Legal Amount Recognition (LAR). We tailor specific solutions for remittance processing sites which have volumes from 50 to over 100,000  payments per day.

Creditron Corporation is a Purepay portfolio company, with its head office just south of Los Angeles, and sales representation in the Dallas, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, and Boston areas. Creditron Canada Inc. is our Canadian company with its head office located in Toronto.

Creditron is a Microsoft Certified Partner, a Microsoft Dynamics GP ISV/Software Solutions Partner, and an authorized reseller for NCR payment processing systems  in the United States and Canada.

Creditron was founded in 1994 by Wally Vogel, a Certified Engineering Technologist with 25 years experience in payment processing systems. Creditron's development and support team includes 20 full time professionals. The staff of Creditron have been involved in the implementation of over 3,000 proof encoding systems and 200 remittance and image systems, in the United States, Canada, and internationally. Creditron has been selected as the provider of choice by many high profile payment processing sites, including Irwin Union Bank, The City of Beverly Hills, The State of Oregon, Citibank Canada, and The Bahamas Public Treasury.

As a solution supplier, Creditron goes beyond installing hardware and software. We also provide operator training, consultation on interface and document printing, mail opening, work flow, and other factors which will help our customers achieve their objectives. Our software support is available via a 1-800 number, via Webex, or via E-Mail. On site hardware support is provided by NCR customer service to assure our customers receive prompt and knowledgeable service.
